Originally from the San Francisco Bay area, WEST LIANG is a Los Angeles-based professional actor, writer, and director, working in theatre, commercials, television, film, and across various platforms in new media.
As a performer, he has appeared on regional and intimate stages all over Southern California, including: East West Players, Rogue Machine Theatre, Echo Theater Co., Celebration Theatre, Artists at Play, Sacred Fools Theatre, Son of Semele Ensemble, Circle X, Company of Angels, Shakespeare Orange County, Odyssey, Playwrights' Arena, Wicked Lit, Pasadena Playhouse, and many more.

In 2012/13, he was honored with a prestigious L. A. WEEKLY Theater Award nomination for 'Best Actor' (Drama) in CoA's premiere production of Their Eyes Saw Rain, which he also wrote.

His award-nominated feature film, Someone I Used to Know (as writer, producer, and star), was produced and financed by 408 Films (Linsanity) in 2011/12 and enjoyed an 18-month international circuit of festivals in SF, LA, NYC, DC, Seattle, Boston, Chicago, Anaheim, Philadelphia, Houston, Vancouver, Berlin, Yakutsk (Russia), and is now available on Amazon.
In 2015, he wrote, produced, and directed All I Want, a feature narrative film starring actress and producing partner, Melissa Center, which explores the anxiety of modern love and life among friends in a big city. After a brief run in festivals, the film was picked up for distribution by Indie Rights, who prepped its VOD launch in April 2018.
West Liang currently resides in Los Angeles, happily and luckily surrounded by loving family and loyal friends.
